Since 1988 Harold Burke has specialized in civil litigation and has represented
Mr. Burke's legal work focuses primarily on complex business, employment and matrimonial matters. He has provided representation in cases involving the following laws and issues: unfair trade practices; premises liability; employment discrimination and wrongful termination; healthcare fraud; securities fraud; corporate governance; international trade regulation; False Claims Act; and Sarbanes-Oxley.

He has served as a guest lecturer on employment and discrimination issues at the University of Connecticut MBA program in Stamford and has also presented lectures on a number of topics including: “The Application of the False Claims Act to Employment Matters”, Connecticut Employment Lawyers Association, May, 2005; “Combating Fraud and Abuse in Government Funded Programs”, Public Purchasing Agents Association, Connecticut Chapter, January, 2003; "The Use of Statistical Evidence to Prove Workplace Discrimination", Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, October, 2001. Additionally, he has conducted in-house management training on employment issues.
